MUST DO: We Serve Humans at The Northcote

One of the capital's hippest burger crews comes to E11

We admit we’ve yet to try these babies, but we’ve heard Very Good Things indeed about We Serve Humans, the burger flippers who already have a couple residencies at The Bell in Spitalfields and The Gun in Clerkenwell.

In fact, some folk are convinced they’re up there with the best in London. One thing’s for sure, we reckon they’ll be better than this slightly disappointing Leyton competitor.

As you can see from the pictures, the patty to plump for is the Chairman – stuffed with a whopping third of a pound of beef. More delicate flowers, however, may opt for the cod or even a veggie salad.

And the news is that ever-enterprising Northcote owner Tuesday Roberts (read our interview with her here) has gone and bagged them weekly at her lovely pub. So if you can’t make it tonight, pop it in the diary for next time.

And while we’re at it, don’t miss the awesome Sunday drag night to boot.

We Serve Humans at the Northcote is weekly on Tuesdays from tonight, 6pm. Mains from £6.50 upwards. Find it at 110 Grove Green Rd E11. Follow @weservehumans and @northcotee11
