If you’re looking for the perfect place for a midweek bite then your search is over. Starting on Monday 3rd August Leyton Star and Heathcote & Star will be offering a 50% discount on all food from Monday to Wednesday.
First up, a four-minute walk from Leyton tube station, Leyton Star has a new kitchen residency Le Beefed. Using British terroir ingredients with French cooking styles, Le Beefed have gained a loyal following through various pop-ups in street food markets, festivals and their current listing on Uber Eats.
We’d suggest going for the Le Smoke Beefed – a cheeseburger topped with bacon and honey drizzle – one of the best sellers that our regulars come back time and time again for.
Meanwhile the Heathcote and Star, located less than a 10-minute walk from Leytonstone tube station, is also joined by a new kitchen resident Krapow.

Their aim? To bring proper Thai street food to London. With strong influences from Northern Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and China, Krapow offers something entirely different, punchier and more complex than traditional UK Thai cuisine.
