Leyton Yoga & Pilates opens new studio off Leytonstone High Road

Quentin and Leti, co-owners of Leyton's original Yoga studio, on their second, larger space in E11

So, some exciting news: if you’re a fan of our Leyton original, our brand new space is located just the other side of the A2, beside the exit of Leytonstone High Road Overground station.

Once again we want it to be a community-inspired, down-to-earth space with modern facilities (completed as recently as 2019). It’s very spacious and accessible, with the ground floor practise room providing room for 15 students two Covid-safe metres apart; and it’s also very quiet and calm, perfect for yoga and pilates.

Providing a second and bigger space is a way for us to say thank you for the trust and support our students showed to us during these lockdown months. You showed up, you connected and shared, and you inspired us. All of this empowered us to continue to nurture Leyton Yoga and strengthen our commitment to better serve the community.

Certainly, like everyone we didn’t expect this year to unfold in the way it has. Back in February Leyton Yoga was growing and we were already thinking we would need a bigger space, that could continue to be inclusive, friendly and down-to-earth, and infused with the yoga tradition.

Since the 16th August we have been back running in-person classes at our original studio in Leyton (just down from the Midland Road Overground) that’s been running since 2014.

It’s been heart-warming to see familiar faces and do socially distanced yoga together. Our original studio is very cute and we intend to keep it running with smaller classes of 6 students per class due to social distancing. However we know that many of our students would miss out on attending their favourite classes, so it’s made it even more important to open a bigger space.

Some may think we’re crazy, as clearly there’s risk of further lockdowns and while we may need to pause for a while we prefer to be on the front foot and do the best we can. We see a regular yoga and pilates practise as a great way for us all to improve our mental and physical health and strengthen our resilience during these times.

See below for our initial set of in-person classes at Trinity Close, starting Saturday 5th September. As more and more people come back to in-person yoga and pilates we will add more classes, to bring the diversity of teachers and styles that we’re known for. If you’re a Leytonstone yoga teacher who is interested in running classes with us we’d love to hear from you! We love supporting the local community and look forward to developing more local partnerships.

With the word ‘trinity’ – our address – meaning three, in September we would like to offer an intro offer of £33 for three weeks unlimited yoga and pilates for any new students to Leyton Yoga. You’re free to use this to try our in-person or livestream classes at either our new Trinity or the original Midland studio.

Also, and this is open to any student – new or regular – we’re offering an opening discount of 33% off all other passes bought in September for in-person Trinity classes. Use promo code TRINITY33 on www.leytonyoga.com when buying a pass for your next class: a full schedule and further detail is on our website. Leyton Yoga E11 opens on 5th September 2020: find us at 38 Trinity Close, E11 4GW
