And this week, the prime E11 site is finally reborn as an extremely shiny new Leytonstone branch of PureGym.
From low-cost flexible memberships to super high quality equipment, we wanted to find out why PureGym is the UK’s favourite gym.
First off, their mission is simply to help people everywhere to lead a healthy and happy life every day. And so the gyms are not judgey environments: everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, sexuality, size, age, ethnicity or ability. We know: we’ve been known to frequent the odd one on more than one occasion.
Some other benefits? Well, there’s a free weights area, functional zone, cardio equipment and fixed resistance machines. The spaces are also designed with you in mind, from the way the gym is laid out, to the range of equipment available.
Still need convincing? More advantages are hundreds of branches nationwide, no-contract memberships and experienced one-on-one personal trainers.
There’s also free wifi, full air conditioning all year round, changing rooms with showers, free initial exercise induction and studio instructor-led classes. Phew.
Memberships are flexible so you can cancel or switch gyms whenever you like. And you don’t pay extra for those fitness classes, either: they’re all included in your membership.
“We’re thrilled to have opened a site in Leytonstone, our 274th gym which opened on Monday 14th September”, says manager Jack Robertson.
“Everybody is welcome at PureGym and we want to play our part in inspiring a healthier nation. Our memberships are low cost and flexible, and we have a wide range of classes and a variety of equipment to suit everybody’s needs.”
PureGym also want to reassure all readers that they are absolutely ready to welcome you and that by following their TrainSafe protocols, provide a safe place to work and a safe place to workout.
